cover image

There is a whole new world of influencers and we are learning a lot from them on constant basis. Many of these learning are however “in-general”. Here are the 4 major lessons we have learned from influencers which may benefit us in the coming year.

  1. TAP INTO THAT NETWORK

World of influencers has a very huge network and is heavily connected. They are a part of many conferences and some are friends in real-life. Plenty of times I have meet with my influencers for suggestions who are interested in our campaigns as well as a suggestion for other influencers who can be interested. When we get in touch with influencers who have a good network, they interact with other influencer’s content which apparently help to get that content in more and more eyes. More eyes = more impression.

  1. DON’T BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP

What is a brand comes to you holding a difficult task, it may be a product or an idea behind a product and you find self in struggling to find a way for content to be generated else a theme to make all that content together, feel free to talk and don’t hesitate to put yourself before an influencer to ask from which you have a good relationship. Most likely they will be happy that you came to them and will be overjoyed to come up with some innovative concepts because at times all you need is a fresh start with a fresh set of eyes and ears to get that creativeness going.

  1. DON’T DOUBT YOUR CAMPAIGN

Facing trouble in getting influencers to bite on campaign? Never to fret, there is always someone who is interested in your brand and will write about it. And, then all you need is to see to your pitch and make it up a bit. There are times when I am ready to throw myself in the towel after few rejections. If you also have felt the same way, ask a couple of influencers you have pitched why they made the assignment down. Take the feedback and reframe you pitch to see if you get some more bites.

  1. PLAN AHEAD

As we have pontificate many times, influencers do have their lives and they are busy. Don’t wait to try in the last minute and secure somebody for your campaign. Influencers get booked and they plan their calendar ahead of time. So if you have only a limited time, it will be difficult for you to get someone on board, or they might not have the reach as you were promising in as return.
